Root-Lowell—a manufacturer of pressurized sprayers for lawn, garden and home use—has been a long-time client of The Anderson Group. They have turned to us for years to create bold and effective packaging for their sprayers, largely distributed through mass channels such as The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Lowe’s and other large national chains. Most recently, they came to use to develop a logo and distinct packaging for their newest product, the Chameleon.
The Chameleon is a new hose end sprayer that attaches to most lawn and garden chemical concentrate bottles. It eliminates contact with these chemicals because the homeowner no longer needs to mix or pour and it offers three different spray patterns.
Our strategy was to create packaging that would highlight the unique product features and draw consumers in the store to the revolutionary products.
We helped establish the product’s personality by creating an eye-catching logo and package design that reflected the versatility and adaptability of the product in a dynamic way.
The attention-demanding packaging was so impactful, the client credits us with helping them win the Best New Product award at the 2010 National Hardware show in Las Vegas.
